1998: Dar Al Fouad was established in October city
1999: A cooperation agreement was signed with Cleveland Clinic, making us the 1st hospital to cooperate with Cleveland Clinic outside of the United States
2001: The 1st liver transplant from a live patient in Egypt and Africa was performed in Dar Al Fouad
2005: Dar Al Fouad becomes the 1st hospital to get the Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation
2008: The Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation for the 2nd time
2010: Dar Al Fouad clinic opens in Kuwait
2011: The Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation for the 3rd time
2012: Dar Al Fouad established the Stroke and brain hemorrhage treatment center, which is the 1st of its kind in Egypt and works according to the US National Institutes of Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
2014: The Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation for the 4th time
2017: The opening of Dar Al Fouad’s oncology center in cooperation with Hartman hospital in Paris
2017: The opening of Dar Al Fouad Nasr city – East Cairo
2017: The Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation for the 5th time
2018: The cooperation agreement between Cleveland Clinic and Dar Al Fouad Nasr city was signed
2020: The Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation for the 6th time
2020: The stroke and brain hemorrhage treatment unit was accredited by the Joint Commission International as the first certified unit in Egypt
2021: The opening of the oncology center in Dar Al Fouad Nasr city
2021: The accreditation of the pain management program from the Joint Commission International
2021: The accreditation of laparoscopic unit is accredited by the International Surgical Review Foundation in the United States of America, becoming the only endoscopy unit accredited in Egypt and the eighth in the world
2022: The Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation for Dar Al Fouad – Nasr City
